Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Alfie the Hemmingway Kitten
Alfie the Hemmingway Kitten

Alfie is doing great! He was very shy for the first couple of days with us, but he eventually relaxed and now he's a snuggling machine. I've never met a cat with a sweeter disposition. I've struggled in vain to get some better pictures of him for the last week, but I've attached a couple of the better ones. His appetite is out of control at the moment so we're being careful with how much we feed him, but he hasn't had any problems with using his litterbox. He's taken to sleeping in bed with us at night (when he sleeps- he's at peak activity around midnight) and seems to be ok while we're at work. We could not be happier with him and I'd like to thank you for making his adoption possible. If he'll stay still long enough I'll send you better pictures.

Ashes the Kitten

Ashes is doing great! He is loved and spoiled by all. He sleeps with my son and waits for him to come home so they can play on the back patio. Ashes spends his days relaxing with my mom and is best buds with my dad. I will send you more pictures soon. This one my son took with his Gameboy. They spend a lot of time playing. Thanks so much for our new family member.

Alice the Rat Terrier
Alice the Rat Terrier

Hi Wendy, With the demise of our 16 year old Yorkie, I hesitated getting another dog. After months of considering the pluses & minuses of having a dog, I decided to take a peek at Pet Rescue by Judy. And there was a picture of "Alice" the rat terrier. It was love at first sight!!!! Everything that was written, is so Alice. She has taken over our house, our hearts and we are so thrilled that she is a part of our family!!!! Thank you! Gibby & Tom

Alexander the Sweetie Pie Kitten

Hi, I just wanted to send quick email to say the boys are doing GREAT! We shortened Alexander’s name to Xander and it seems to suit him. They are eating great and the girls just LOVE them. And they put up with the girls loving on them without complaint. They have been sleeping with us at night. We’re still working on making nice with the dog. Xander seems to be a bit more adventurous on that front though he still hisses her. He doesn’t run away. I am sure over time if they don’t become friends, they’ll at least tolerate each other! I’m attaching a couple pictures we took last night. Thank you so much for handling everything for us. We love our new furbabies! Erin, Brian, Linnaea and Alexa

Alice the Golden-Eyed Tortie Kitten

I realized I hadn't sent you any recent pictures of the girls, so enjoy! Since taking these pics, the ends of the bike rack shipping box have been cut off and it is now a permanent play toy under my coffee table. They take turns napping in it. Temporarily I have removed the doors off their carriers so they can bunk out in them without my worry of them eating the cord I had used to tie the doors open. They are great pals and we all get along splendidly!
