Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Astrid

Since we last met and adopted Nettie she finally met her daddy
they loved each other at first sight.  Nettie had a long road trip from Florida to CT . She is so good in the car and a great hotel guest. She loves her brothers Abbott and Patches.
They all had a grooming / spa date and are clean, soft  and healthy.
She then went to Cape COD and met more family and family pets.
She had a fun beach day and hiked on the rail trail in Bourne Mass.
This coming week she’ll be meeting more family and family pets.
We are so in love with her and blessed beyond measure to have her added to our family.
We’ll be in touch with more adventures. We hope other fur babies have found their fur ever homes and family.
God bless you all for your hard work,

Milo

He has made himself at home. Right now he is up on the couch. Think this is so he could watch me in the kitchen. We had him up to the assisted living where my mother was moved into memory care. She really perked up when I put Milo on the bed. She talked and petted him. He was also a hit with the staff coming through when we were in the lobby. He was so good. He loves car rides. We had him to the vet last week for a wellness checkup & to get heartworm/fleas meds. Once again he was a good boy. He is the first dog we've had who is aware of things on TV.

Todd

Todd now called Toby-Jax is doing well.  He is a little friendly, sweet boy and has already made himself feel at home and comfortable with me. He loves going for walks, plays fetch with his new toys and he loves his cuddle time with me too.

He is still getting used to my 2 kitties though and they with him. Hopefully, they will all be good friends or at least learn to co-exist nicely together.

I have attached some recent photos I have taken of Toby-Jax so you may see how happy he is.

Thank you all again for allowing me to adopt Toby-Jax!

Boudin

We’re so grateful for all that Judy and your team has done to get Boudin here, cared for, and adopted.
We’re calling him Bo and he’s doing great! He loves the grass and exploring the yard, and is sitting nicely when it’s time to eat. We’re spending a good amount of time in the yard playing and learning to potty outside, and he’s done great sleeping through the past few nights in his crate in our room.
He’s absolutely the sweetest!! I also did post a photo for Southern Dog Mission, we loved the note and story about his arrival - so thoughtful and means a lot to know how he got here.
Looking forward to hearing about the rest of his litter too!
Thank you again, I’ll definitely stay in touch. God bless you all for the work you do!

Meadow

Beautiful Meadow was adopted in May!
