Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Sir Whiskers

Mittens aka “Moo” is adjusting so well to his new home. This is him next to Marlow, the ash-gray tabby we adopted from you all 1 year ago. We can already tell these two are becoming sweet buddies. 🐾   Highly recommend giving kitties plenty of time to get used to each other’s smells before fully letting them meet. After about 7 days of room swapping so they could smell each other they finally seemed relaxed enough to meet - and they’ve been buddies since. 🤍 Thank you for helping us find this buddy for Marlow and new furry member of our family

Olivia

Merry Christmas from Olivia and Buttercup!

Olivia is such a sweet, good girl . She'll always sit still for pictures while Buttercup wants no part of it

She's doing well and is perfect!

Franklin

He seems to be doing well . He was very good on the trip home and slept quietly in his crate on our bedroom last night.  He's eating and drinking and is doing well on his potty manners.  We did have an accident yesterday evening when Amy and I went out for dinner but these things are expected with a new dog.  When we took him out this morning he took care of his business right away.

Otherwise he's getting on well with the other pets and has been busy exploring his new surroundings. He really seems to enjoy going for walks. We did almost a quarter mile (slowly) last night and a bit more than that on our morning walk.

Sparkler the Puppy

I adopted my puppy July of 2009.  Had her for 15 wonderful years.   Thank you for bringing her into my life.    Her name was Sparkler when I adopted her and her sister Fireworks (we had her 13 wonderful years.)
