Meet Kia — A Gentle Senior Looking for Comfort and Companionship

Kia came to us with his feline friend Lana after their beloved owner passed away. It’s always heartbreaking when pets lose their home due to circumstances beyond their control, but we’re grateful Kia is now safe and cared for while he waits for his next chapter.

Although Kia and Lana are not bonded, we would love to see them adopted together if possible — especially since they’ve already been through so much together. That said, Kia does need a home with at least one other cat. He finds comfort and confidence in feline companionship and truly thrives when he’s not alone. 

Kia’s Personality:

• Sweet, calm, and affectionate
• Loves being near his humans and will happily keep you company
• Easy-going and social with other cats
• Still has plenty of love and life to share

Senior cats like Kia may be a little slower than kittens, but they come with a lifetime of love, wisdom, and loyalty. He’s the kind of cat who just wants a warm spot to nap, a kind hand to pet him, and a soft voice to let him know he’s safe again.
