Foster Update 3/27/12 :  Andrew is a wonderful little kitten. He and his siblings were found abandoned in a parking lot at 4 weeks old. Despite this cruel start, he is a gentle and loving kitten. As all kittens do, he wrestles and plays with his siblings and foster brothers and sisters. He loves all kinds of cat toys, even the unconventional ones.  He enjoys going out on the back porch to wrestle and run, but he will take some time out to do some bird and squirrel watching. He also likes to sit in the second story window and watch all that is going on outside. He is very curious and was the first one to find himself squeezed into a area he shouldn't have been able to get into.

He loves to cuddle with his siblings and companions. When there is a kitten pile on the couch or in my lap, he is usually a part of it. Individually, I can find him napping next to me on the couch, but he does sleep in my lap as well. Andrew will sometimes sleep on the bed. I have found him in the mornings, curled up next to me or down at my feet.

Andrew is a little more independent in beig held and petted. It is done on his terms, but I've noticed that he has been seeking out more attention from me lately.

He has one of the most unique coat patterns I have ever seen in a cat. He is a black and white tabby, but he has these swirls of tan running from his shoulder to his hips. He also has two tan lines running down his back where the fur is ticked with dark brown giving the stripes a variegated look. When looking at you or something curious, Andrew has always had the habit of tilting his head. It is too adorable.
