Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families. We invite you to read along with us. If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going! We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.
Here are a couple of recent pics of my handsome boy Chuey! Last pic he’s hangin with his “Uncle Milo” my Mom’s pup we were dog sitting lol
Our second PRBJ dog is Mr. Prince, our foster fail. When he first arrived in our home it was very clear that he was very abused in his life. If your hand happened to cross in front of his face at the wrong time he would act out and bite you. Not just a little bite, a big bite like he was scared for his life and protecting himself. Luckily he is only 6lbs, so though it did hurt it was tolerable. We could see so much love in this little dog’s eyes, but he just didn’t know how to show us yet. After months and months of patience and sweet talking him his biting slowed down and he kicked into cuddle mode! We are still cautious with our movements around him so we do not scare him, but now he covers us in kisses instead of bites. We feel so lucky that he trusts us now. His love was definitely worth the wait!
This is princess and we adopted her from you guys a couple months ago. She was puddles. Best dog ever!
