Description: Summer: We were taking a stroll in a wooded park and saw this beautiful cat wandering around the woods where it looked like she had been rummaging in the dirt or around picnic tables for bits of food. She looked scared, alone and quite malnourished--we thought it best to take her back with us and get her some real food and find her a good home! My daughter named her 'Summer' since we found and rescued her in the midst of the summer season. She is currently being treated for fleas and worms.
Summer is a beautiful green-eyed Calico with mixed patches of reddish-brown, cream and black color fur over a white coat. Her left eye though has a laceration (possibly from being in a squabble with another cat). Her tail is a mix of brown and black. Her fur is so soft all over and long in some areas. She is extremely affectionate towards humans--children and adults alike but takes a little bit of time to warm up to other cats. She was quite aggressive towards all my foster cats at first, hissing, snorting (not kidding, snorting!) and chasing after them with a vengeance! But all that has simmered down now. She is turning out to be quite sweet and playful with them. This one girl is a true lap cat! She will look into your eyes and beg for you to let her sit on your lap. Oh how she loves to laze there for hours and be stroked. She is your perfect cat--doesn't scratch or nip but ready to play with her human companions and so amazingly sweet!
Summer would be a wonderful addition to any kind of household.
