Foster Update 7/23/12: Riley is four and a half months old and weighs almost five and a half pounds. He is still the super social little guy he's always been! He's a cat's cat and adores feline companionship. He walks around the house all day purring and rubbing up against every creature in sight. He is good with children, especially toddlers, as their energy levels are about equal! He likes to hear himself talk and you will too, as his raspy meow is one of a kind. Riley is trained to use a scratching post and is an excellent litter box user. He loves any and all toys and is not a picky eater.

 

Riley comes from a litter of six kittens, rescued by a caring member of the PRBJ family. The litter stayed with their mother until they were approximately six weeks old. Then they were separated into pairs and placed in loving foster homes. Riley and his sister Sullivan (aka Sully) came to live with us and our two other foster kitties, along with our three large adult cats. Riley was a SUPER social little guy from day one! He wanted to play and make friends with everyone in the house! At first, his feelings were not reciprocated by some of the adult cats. But that quickly changed, as Riley won them over with his lover boy charm. He is always happy and purring (and chatting) up a storm! Riley enjoys being held, as much as he loves to play. He especially likes to wrestle with his sister. Due to his super social personality, Riley would do best in a home with other cats. He would absolutely love to be adopted with his sister Sully or one of his other siblings or a kitten near his age.
