Description:

Onyx is a very happy go lucky boy, active in the yard, but mellow in the home. He has a moderate activity level and is happy running, playing, and sniffing in the yard or snuggling in your lap during a long movie. His disposition is very sweet, he comes when called, knows sit, is about 90% potty trained, and will whine a little to try and let someone know he has to go out. He is not a very vocal dog, is very calm in nature and his puppy kisses are so comforting. He plays with toys, has a great appetite, and will make any other dog or person in the home a wonderful friend and companion. His coat is gorgeous, it’s the prettiest jet black color and so shiny. He also has the cutest smooshed up face, a little pug nose, and little white hairs under his chin. Onyx is just so good natured and has been the perfect little boy.

Onyx, his siblings, and his mom all got their flight wings when they arrived at PRBJ via the Pilots for Paws program.   This organization is made of up volunteers that use their own resources to fly animals from rural areas to larger cities or more populated regions to help these homeless animals get a second chance and find them a forever home.

New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We highly recommend their new family attend puppy training classes. Training classes are the most successful when everyone in the family attends so you all learn about your new puppy.
