Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Pumpkin

Thank you for the opportunity to adopt Pumpkin. She is a true little dog. She walked right into our home, and has taken over.
She greeted the cats, like hi, nice to meet you, then went into our yard and took a look around.
Pumpkin and Reagan shared the bean bag we have on our screen porch and everyone is getting along just great.

Quick update. Pumpkin is doing well. As far as her transition to our family goes, she continues to get more spoiled. See photo, my daughter just brought her into the office to laze on the futon while I work! Complete Cush queen and overall lover girl. Doing great with our other pups and cats!

Here is the latest with Pumpkin ..
She’s such a big part of the family!  She may be little but her personality is HUGE!

She loves to play at the dog park, meets no pup she won’t play with.  Runs with the packs of big dogs in and out of the water.

Insists on a car ride any time she hears keys.

And she and Reagan play at least 2 if not 3 times a day.  I just got a short video of them playing tonight

We adore her!

Still working with her to reduce the growling at other dogs when she’s on her leash and morning grumpies!  She needs a few minutes to shake the cobwebs off initially..

Pumpkin

Hi All,
Thought I’d share an update on Pumpkin .  We adopted her in October of 2018.  It took her no time to fit into our family and become one of our fur babies.  In this picture this little peanut is on the back of the couch letting ya know when a runner, walker or cyclist goes by!  She’s a busy bee since we live on a street with a lot of activity!  We are so glad Pumpkin is one of our fur babies and a totally spoiled little girl.
