Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families. We invite you to read along with us. So 1 year ago today - these cute little babies joined our family. Baby girl Daisy was a tiny 9 lbs & her brother Dusty 9 1/2. Now - here we stand after our vet visit yesterday.... and baby girl has more than quadrupled her weight! She’s hanging on at 39 lbs., while baby boy is a trim 33 lbs. This crazy duo has kept us on our toes more than w
e care to remember! They have proudly escaped our backyard from every which way they can find. They have stolen, eaten, & destroyed countless pairs of shoes, clothing items, linens, remotes, & many other items (including a $100 bill!). But the joy they have given us each day - has far outweighed any of the naughtiness. I so love these babies more than I thought my heart would allow! Happy anniversary my sweet babies. I hope we have many, many, more years as we all grow old together!
This was Sadie Frost. She now goes by the name Thelma Lou. One year ago we had her out to the house for a visit. She stayed!
