Things are going well! Hazel seems to be adapting well to living with us—she likes wrestling with Balu in the yard, and loves tug of war. We've had a few potty accidents, but she seems to be slowly improving. She's very sweet, and fancies herself a lapdog, if she can convince whoever's on the couch of that. Since she's still a puppy, she hasn't quite figured out yet that playing with humans isn't like playing with other dogs, so she often jumps and nibbles, which can frequently overwhelm Danielle, who's only a little bigger than Hazel herself; however, we're confident that we'll figure it out over time, as we continue to teach her.

 

She likes all of us, but she's taken a particular shine to my wife, Tasha.
