Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families. We invite you to read along with us. If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going! We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.
I have been a volunteer at Judy's. We adopted Barney there in May 2013 and
Sassy
in May 2017. They have become famous friends.
We also adopted Roxy at the same time we got Barney in 2013. Their success story is already posted on your Success Stories page.
Sassy
and Barney's pic is attached.
Please keep up the most important work that you do!
“
Barney
the chihuahua, n/k/a Benji, joined us 1 year ago this month. This little guy went from “Dog for a Day” to becoming a permanent family member. He is just the sweetest dog who gets along so well with everyone. Benji and our red-tick coon hound are just like brothers.....notice their striking family resemblance! We are so glad Benji is part of our family.”
Just thought you would like to have an update on Bianca. We adopted here in July 2016. We took her on a 7,000 mile road trip in September 2016 and she loved riding in the van between Carole and I. She is now approximately 2.5 years old. She weighs 25 pounds. She was treated for heart worms in 2017 and because of being on steroids for 4 months she gained about 5 pounds which we are now trying to get her to lose. She loves to walk and she loves to run in circles around me when I walk her. There are times when I think she understands every word we are saying. She responds to let’s go outside and let’s go in the golf cart (this is her favorite mode of transportation).
Benji now know as:Tyler had a great first night. He is adjusting to his new home very well. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give Tyler a forever home!
