5/8/18 Foster update: Buddy loves poofy dog beds and the couch. He can get a little protective of the couch or bed at times and we are working on that. It has not been a frequent behavior; I think he is trying to determine his place in the household and what he can/can't get away with. He's so cute when he sleeps - sometimes you can see his little pink tongue sticking out. He is quite the happy little guy!4/21/18 Foster update: Buddy has been with us for a few days now. We have 4 other dogs and he is fine with all of them. We have not seen any skittishness with men. He jumped up to sit in the chair with my Dad and he absolutely adores his foster Dad. He has a fair amount of energy but also loves to lay on the couch. He is crate trained and sleeps through the night. He has not been interested in any toys offered to him. He was diagnosed with a heart problem this week and does cough at times throughout the day. He is now on 3 medications each day and will need to stay on them for the rest of his life. Buddy was owner surrendered to Pet Rescue by Judy. He is the sweetest senior around. He is fine with dogs, cats, kids. He is fearful of thunder and appears to be a bit skittish with men. If you are looking for a companion to adopt, Buddy would love to go home with you.
