Barnaby
Hello. I just wanted to give you an update on
Barnaby
(now Bernie), as it’s been 2 weeks since his adoption.
He adjusted to his new home immediately and is doing so well. Bernie enjoys playing tug of war with our other pit mix Xena (also a PRBJ rescue, adopted 12/2014), running with her in their big fenced yard, snuggling with his 4 humans, and he has certainly made himself at home in his new environment.
He’s a wonderful companion and is the most attentive and adaptable dog I’ve ever known. He pays close attention to everything that’s happening and learns quickly just by observation. What a smart guy he is!
He is so happy and playful, and I think his energy and sweet disposition is exactly what our family was looking for. And the way he uses his paws to reach for things or get someone’s attention (almost human like) is the funniest thing we have ever seen. He makes us laugh dozens of times a day and we are so grateful to have him as part of our family. Thank you for allowing us to become Bernie’s family.
Attached is a photo of Bernie (right) and Xena (left) relaxing on my son’s bed. Even though they each have their own dog beds, I often find both squished up snuggling together in one. We are looking forward to many happy years together.

Hi Carol,
I just want to give you an update on
Benito
, now Bennie and hopefully you can pass it along to Ema and Judy at the rescue.
He is doing wonderful! He had his appointment at the Noah's Ark Vet Hospital yesterday in Lake Nona and Dr Norton though he was the sweetest dog they had seen all day.
We think he likes girls more than boys and has a little hound or beagle in him. He made a lot of progress this week and is so happy running around the yard, chewing his treats
and playing with his toys.
He
is lots of fun and we love him. So we just wanted to THANK YOU and everyone at Pet Rescue by Judy for the wonderful work you do.
