Benito came from Sumter County with his mother, Luna, and his brother, Tanner. Benito is a shy boy, but once he warms up, he is sweet and as playful as can be. Since Benito is still new to the shelter, we will evaluate him and update the website accordingly.
Benito, Tanner, and Diamond all arrived together at PRBJ. Tanner showed slight signs of Parvo disease, and we felt it best to treat all 3 dogs to be on the safe side. In order to be cautious, we recommend adopters of these sweeties, to keep them away from dog parks/interactions with and any non-family (fully vaccinated) canines until 5/21 as Parvo can be 'shed off' a dog for up to 40 days, and restricting canine interactions will prevent the spread to a non-vaccinated dog (another reason it is so important to keep dog's up to date on required vaccines).
Benito is not available for fostering at this time.
