Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Andrew the Sweetie
Andrew the Sweetie

Hi Jennifer, Sorry for the delayed response. Andrew is doing great. He is such a sweetheart. I love how he cuddles at night. I love seeing his fluffy face in the mornings. Bella is getting used to him as well. She has recently quit hissing at him and now rolls around with him playfully. They will be thick as thieves, those two. Take care, Brian

Alex the Kate + 8 Pup

Hey Pamela! Thanks for checking on us! Alex AKA Brody Alex is doing great, he has adjusted well to our home and we feel he has certainly filled that emptyness we had in our home. Brody is so loving and playful! We adore him as if he were our own son, we look forward to the many joyous, playful years we have ahead of us with our new addition! Im sure he misses his rescue crew as well, you guys did an amazing job with him and thank you so much for allowing us to rescue Brody! It has been a dream!

Aaden the Kate + 8 Pup
Aaden the Kate + 8 Pup

This is Aaden (Now Rocky) at his new home. He is a little devil, but we wanted a somewhat independent and free spirited dog and we got it. He is protesting a lack of attention as I type this. Rest assured he is in a loving and caring home and will be forever well cared for. Wes & Kathy

Addie the Dachshund Puppy

Good afternoon. Back on 5/10/2010 Julie and I adopted Addie and renamed her MJ. I was hesitant at adopting her because I lost my daschund Rose to a brain tumor 8 months prior and I did not want to go through losing another dog. Her death hurt me very badly. I wanted to mention that MJ is an angel. She is exactly what I needed. I give her what she needs everyday: 3 mile walks, many toys, boundaries and limitations, and lots of love. She comes to me without being called into the bathroom every night to have her teeth brushed. She even lets me cut her nails. She loves to swim and she loves the dog park and she really loves staying at the parc pet and suites. She also gives me what I need everyday which is unconditional love and companionship. I tell her everyday that I love her and how pretty she is. She is my favorite dog and I love all dogs. I just wanted you to know that this particular dog is a gift from a great place. I am making every effort to give her the best doggy life possible. I am so grateful for the blessing of being her daddy. Now that she is almost 2 years old I reflect back upon my hesitancy and i know my life is that much more fulfilled with MJ by my side. Brian
