Foster Update3/12: Smokey continues to adjust each day. He is not as skittish as he was when he came to live in my home. He is such a sweet boy. If you are looking for a cat that will curl up with you at night, Smokey is your boy. He loves to sleep above my head and purr. He is very affectionate and loves to have his head scratched. He just needs to find his forever family that will love him as much as he will love his new family.

Foster Update 2/1: Smokey has really adjusted very well. He is less skittish each day. He is getting along very well with his kitty companions. He and one of my male kitties have become good buds. He loves to play and loves lots of attention. He enjoys curling up at night. He is a very special boy. I have not seen any issues with him being around smaller children. He also has done very well with small dogs. He definitely would make a wonderful addition to any home. He would be ok as an only child or with a kitty or small dog companion.

Foster Update 12/28:
Smokey Bones has adjusted very well over the past several weeks. He no longer hides and loves to come out and be around his human companions. He also does very well with my feline family members and was also around small dogs which he did not seem to have any issues with. He was also exposed to a 6 year old and he did well with him. He does still have some skittishness to him, but it is diminishing each day. He loves to cuddle and have attention given to him. He has taken to one of my male kitties very well. They have become good buds and play a lot. He would definitely do well in a family environment with another cat or small dog.

Foster Update 12/6/12:
What a sweet and handsome boy. I have had him in my home for almost a week. Although he was confused the first day I brought him  home and he hid, by the second day he finally came out to see what was going on. He crawled up in bed and wanted some love time. He is very affectionate. He is a little skittish with loud noises or quick motions. I feel with his sweet personality he will overcome that. He gets along very well with my other feline family members. I think he would do well in a home with another cat. He likes lots of attention so he would thrive well with a family that is willing to give him lots of loving attention.

Smokey Bones (Monkey) and his three companions came to us when their owner passed away unexpectedly The family came to us for help. They are very sweet, but unsure of what has happened to them. Please give them a new loving home.
