Description:

I may look like a tough guy, but I LOVE to cuddle!

For a long time, I had difficulty with my bowels and no one knew why. We tried lots of different foods and I still didn't feel well at all. THEN, a vet found out that I have Inflamatory Bowel Disease and put me on a special Hydrolyzed food. Now I feel GREAT and am looking forward to meeting my forver humans!!

Foster Update (3/21/12): Rocky LOVES humans! He is such a sweet, affectionate cat and loves to just sit with you and be petted. When you rub his favorite spot (right above his ears), he puts his ears down, closes his eyes and smiles and purrs. We call it his "Happy Yoda" face because, although his face CAN look a bit angry, he definately looks like a happy Yoda when you scratch his ears. It's truly adorable!

We also found out this week at adoptions that Rocky LIKES KIDS! Some children wanted to pet a kitty and, knowing how affectionate Rocky is, I opened Rocky's crate for them to pet him. Not only did Rocky come right to them, but he happily rubbed his face all over the children's hands and arms and even gave the little boy a lick! Then he looked longingly after them when they went away. I think Rocky would enjoy having a child of his own.

Foster Update (2/12/12): Rocky is such a loving boy! He's very outgoing and social and loves to come over to be petted and cuddled, rubbing up against your legs until you give him attention.

He's super sleek and beautiful with REALLY long legs and looks like a striped panther walking around the house. His left eye is a little cloudy due to scarring from long ago, but he doesn't seem to mind it. It gives character to his beautiful, intelligent face.

Rocky qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors program! If adopted by a senior (55+) his adoption fee is $25.
