Foster Update 7/20/13: Recently this summer our family took a 10 day vacation to visit family. While we were gone, another wonderful foster looked after Mario and our other foster cat, Billie. This foster had five other cats but no dogs. Mario adjusted quickly in this environment and loved the attention given to him by one of the resident cats. Mario would do best in a dog free home where he could have an easier adjustment and could relax with other resident cats.

Foster update 2/8/13: Mario loves to snuggle at night with you. He rubs his head on your forehead and then curls up next to you so that his paw is touching you. He has a loud wonderful purr and he will purr you to sleep at night.

He now ignores my dogs. Continues to get along very well with other cats and would enjoy a companion.

He is very beautiful as you can see. Won't you please consider giving him his forever home?

Foster Update 11/20/12: Mario has truly been enjoying living back in a home. We bought him a cat perch with a scratching post on it and he loves to sleep at the top of it. It has a little bed and Mario is such a big cat. But he curls himself into it and just loves laying in there and looking out the window all day. As mentioned previously, Mario gets along well with other cats. He tolerates the dogs as long as they don't meet in the same doorway at the same time. Then he hisses at them but otherwise he just keeps a cautious eye on them. He sits with you in the living room and curls up next to you on the bed. He becomes very engaging and interactive with his person. Please consider Mario as your next companion.
