Description:
Foster Update - 8/26/11
Calvin is very loving and a lap cat, he slept with us every night and would race us to bed at night. Joey on the other hand was very guarded and cautious, it took him longer to get used to us, but eventually he would let his guard down and join the family in front of the tv and search for whoever had a free hand to scratch his head or pet him. Joey & Calvin got along beautifully with our 2 Boston terriers; in fact Joey would sleep with Oreo on the couch daily. There was never a single fight between any of the animals, never. They use the cat box, they comfortably shared space with the dogs and the family. They didn't destroy curtains or furniture, they were curious, but not destructive. They weren't noisy at night. They kept each other playfully occupied, which probably resulted in less mischief, We really miss them and want them to find a really good home. We really enjoyed taking care of them.
Foster Update - 3/28/11 -
Calvin and Joey are doing great. They have adjusted to our home and our two Boston terriers right away. Both of them enjoy hanging out with the whole family every evening in the family room. They love to play. They are both great companions for a home with friendly dogs and older children (young children might frighten Joey at first) and adults. I am sure they will make a family very happy.
Calvin is highly sociable. He chases your hand for more petting. He falls asleep on my husbands lap every evening while the family watches television. He does appear to prefer men, but is loving to all.

Calvin - Very intelligent and sensitive, he is also shy at first and has bonded with his previous male caretaker in a big way. In this way he is independent, but will seek to bond with someone gentle and special to him. He likes to give massages to that special person and is very affectionate toward them. He has been around non-aggressive dogs. Loves wet food. He loves to play with his sibblings and then wants attention from his human and will give them big love. He would make a great companion for someone special.
