Description:
Vanilla is back with us at PRBJ looking for a new forever home. He wandered into a PRBJ supporters house last week and made himself at home! Turns out we haven't been able to contact his previous owners so here he is again! Vanilla is social, confident and sweet natured.
Foster Update - 3/14/2013 Vanilla was a lovely little kitten, but has turned into a STUNNING gentlemanly cat! He is super sleek with tall ears and the most gorgeous green eyes you've ever seen, photos do not do him justice! He has adjusted very easily back into my home and confidently explored his surroundings, no hiding or flinching. He is very sweet and social with people, and, although not really a lap cat, he loves to be near you and have his neck scratched. He doesn't mind the other cats (even when they hiss at him, he tries to ignore them) but isn't super playful with them yet unless enticed by a feather wand. Dogs don't seem to bother him at all and when he heard my dog bark for the first time, he ran to follow her and see what she was barking at! I was happy to see he is still very neat in the litter box and still loves to chatter to himself as he goes about his day. What a sweet and stunning boy!
Vanilla and his 3 siblings were dropped off in a crate outside our shelter. They are now in a loving foster home and would love to go home wih you.

Foster Update - 8/27/2010 Vanilla is an absolute sweetheart. He is very calm, gentle and affectionate and sometimes gets picked on by his big brothers because he's definitely a lover, not a fighter. He was a little wary of our foster dog at first, but as soon as his brother Mocha showed him that the dog was nice, he came out of hiding to play. He loves to cuddle with and be petted by his human friends and will sit with you as long as you let him. As an added bonus, he has very subtle black and brown stripes along his legs, body and face that make him look exotic in the sunlight.
His favorite pass-times include scratching his scratchpad (Not the furniture =)) and playing with jingle-balls.
