Description:

Foster Update (5/17/11):Update on the 3 mus-cat-eers:
The boys play chase and wrestle every morning. Then they hug each other, and lick each other's faces. Spike is trying to teach CP to play "chase." He hides behind something until she gets curious, and comes over to investigate. Then he jumps out and chases her! Don't know how far he'll get with this - it's been a long time since she was a kitten. Also, I think Kevin is mistaken about her weight loss. Now that she's chummy with the boys, she steals their food. So I think she's regained all the weight. She resembles a round white pillow, stuffed with ball bearings.

Foster Update (5/10/11): Everyone is doing well. All 3 play together now; CP can keep up with the boys chasing balls, string, or red-dot. She doesn't wrestle or play tag with them. Bear is becoming assertive. He's right there demanding attention whenever I pet one of the others or try to take a photo. I didn't leave them enough food one night, so he tore open a bag of catfood. Everyone likes to be brushed, and all enjoy belly rubs. One night, both boys decided to sleep with us, which annoyed CP. She came up with the bright idea of sleeping on the pillow above my head, which was a surprise when I woke up the next morning! Bear was so "into" wrestling with Spike this morning that Kevin had to distract him, because Spike was a little overwhelmed, and wanted to stop playing. CP doesn't respect Bear; she told him 2x she wanted to share his food, and when he just kept on eating, she slapped him gently across the face! She has a crush on Spike, and sometimes trails him and rolls upside down to get his attention (although he sometimes tries to steal her diet food).

Foster Update (4/19/11): Cream Puff is currently living in our foster home. It took some time for
her personality to blossom, but she's gradually overcoming her shyness. CP is a sweet quiet lady who likes being with people and other cats. She's playful, gentle, and well-behaved. She enjoys being brushed, belly rubs, watching TV and sleeping with her "people.

Cream Puff is a large girl in need of a new home. she is spayed , up to date with vaccinations and ready to roll out of the center and into her new home! she takes a little time to warm up to strangers, as many cats do, but she is worth the wait.

09.18.10 Volunteer Update: Today Damon and Cream Puff were so happy that they had a red blanket (photo) to share! As Damon was bathing himself he had his back leg stretched out and it was laying on Cream Puff's side. They were so cute. Both of them just wanted some human attention.

11.11.10 Volunteer Update: Cream Puff is such a cool cat. She was loving playing with the toys today. No human was on the "other end of the stick" but she got the red furry toy and was playing with it. I just happened to get some action shots with it wrapping around her head. She appeared to be having such a good time!
