Theodore was trapped a couple of weeks after his brother, Dakota and taken to the same foster home. The first couple of weeks he was terrified but with time, patience and very gentle handling he is now a fully fledged member of the foster kitten posse! He plays very well with the other cats and is unfazed by the dogs but he is still skittish and easily spooked.
As such, he would do best in a quiet household without young children. He is sweet and loving once you gain his trust, purring whilst you pet him. He especially loves to sleep on the bed with his foster Mom and Dad. He would do great in a quiet and calm household but if a stranger came in, you wouldn't see him for dust! Once it’s quiet again, he'll come out and resumes whatever he was doing - no worries!
He's definately worth spending the time gaining his trust.
Foster Update 5/20: Theodore becomes more relaxed and confident each day. He is a sweet, low key kind of guy - not manic as some kittens are.
FOSTER UPDATE: 7/8/10 - Theodore and Pebbles have formed an unusal but heart warming bond. They play and tussel together, yelling and meowing but then groom each other and snuggle up together. It would be lovely to see them go home together. Theodore is till gaining confidence and likes to sleep with his people at night. He will join you on the couch to watch TV - he's not allowed a beer though - too young!
