Single Orange Kitty Seeking A Soul Mate
Hello! My name is Stripes, but you can call me Casanova because I am a LOVER! In fact, when we're lounging in the living room together, you may have to turn up the volume on the TV so you can hear it over my purrs!
When you pet me, I will nudge my head against your hand and kindly ask for cuddles. I just love to be touched! Whether you live alone or have a family, don't worry. I have enough sugar to go around and will get as much quality time as possible with everyone in the house. I'm just a little kitty, so I fit purrfectly on all sizes of laps!
My hobbies include being super-sweet, snuggling on laps, general cuddling, purring loudly, and inhaling catnip on my cardboard scratcher. If this sounds like what you're seeking, I'm the kitty you've been looking for!
I thought I had a loving home once, but my sister and I were dumped on the streets when having a kitty became inconvenient. After all that, I still love people and am waiting for someone to give me another chance. My sister found a home, and I'm very happy for her, but now I'm all alone.
For now, I'm living with a foster family. They are all adults, so I can promise that I get along well with grown-ups. I am particularly fond of my foster granny who lets me lay on the bed with her and her amazing heating pad!
Sure, I'll be a bit timid at first. I've had some time on the streets, so loud noises and sudden movements startle me. Give me a quiet home with lots of kindness and soft voices, and you'll see me settle in very quickly. After just a few days with my foster family, I started spending lots of quality time out and about and have discovered many great things to climb on!
If you have another kitty, I may not be able to open up my heart to him or her. I'm happy to co-exist with another, though, as long as he's not aggressive or mean.
Please reach out to me if you are loving, kind, and committed to a long-term relationship. I would love to be yours for eternity!
05/08/2017: Stripes and companion Fiona were adopted together and thrown out onto the streets together to become strays. They were in such bad shape. Again, we sit here and ask how can anyone do this? They are ready to get adopted together or seperate. Right now they are very scared and need some tlc. Look at the before and after photos of Stripes, you can see in his eyes that he had it rough. His eyes are so sad now, this boy just needs love .
Stripes is such a typical tomcat; he plays hard and loves even harder!! He loves people and has a great time following you all over the house. He is a ball of energy and has so much fun getting into almost everything! He is always the first to greet you at the door with a big meow and a leg rub. He would be a great addition to any home.
