Totoro is a very sweet, playful and shy boy who will need an experienced, patient adopter who will give him time to adjust. Though he is shy, once he gets to know you, his purr will melt your heart. He enjoys being petted, but would prefer not to be held. Totoro can always be found playing with his sister, Mei, in the cat room and they would love to be adopted together.  Totoro would do best in a home with older children.

Totoro and his siblings came to PRBJ from a high kill shelter and were raised in a loving, foster home.

This dear boy was the guardian of his litter when they were little.  If you know the movie "My Neighbor Totoro" you will smile when you see his belly.  He is gorgeous, with markings similar to an "ocicat".  He is quiet with a soft voice and not often heard.  Totoro is agile and loves to play.  Though somewhat shy, his purr will melt your heart when he gets to know you.
