Description:
Kylie and her siblings came to us from a rural shelter. When they arrived they were very sick and
our staff worked endlessly to nurse them back to health. They are sweet, young dogs that need training. Hound dogs tend to follow their noses wherever they will take them. We are requiring that her new home have a secure fenced-in backyard for her to run and play in. While outside in the yard, she will need to be supervised at all times in case there is a smell that grabs her attention on the other side of the fence.
Kylie is very loving and playful. She enjoys spending time with her sister, Kendall. They eat, sleep and play together like two peas in a pod. She is working on being potty trained. In her foster home, she has been around a cat and likes to bark at it but seems more like she is barking to get it to play and has not tried to harm it. She will need help with training to walk on a leash and basic commands/manners.
