Jax was unfortunately no longer wanted by his family. He is a nice boy who was forced to live outside since the family moved to Florida. We can not understand how they could let this poor dog live in this heat with his heavy shepherd coat.       
    We also had to use bolt cutters to get a small chain collar off of his neck. He is a sweet dog who deserves a nice family to call his own.
    A few years ago he got into an accident with a tractor which broke a couple of his teeth and injured one of his back legs. He had X-rays done at the time and nothing is broken. Still to this day he favors one of his legs but does not seem to be in pain.
    Jax is a good boy and loves to play and give hugs and kisses. He loves to play with toys and carry them around with him. He also is very fond of sticks he finds in the yard.
However, he does not like to share toys with other dogs. If his new home has other dogs his new owner will need to be sensitive to that and either has a toy-free household or separate play times for the dogs. If you think you would be a good match for this boy, please fill out an application
