Description:

Foster update 10/19/20:  Smitty fka Thumper is such a GREAT dog!  He would do best in a home with a fenced yard as he loves to run and explore. He likes squeaky toys, but doesn't try to remove the squeaker.  Smitty loves treats and takes them very gently.  He and my dog go for very fast daily runs together.  He does great in the car and hops right in and out when asked. Smitty is very strong and does pull a little on the leash when his hound nose finds interest. He also will sometimes jump up out of excitement, but we're working on that. :)  If you are interested in meeting Smitty, please submit an application.

Sweet Smitty (formally Thumper) was unfortunately returned to us after living his first year of life with a family. His parents were having some problems, and they had to bring him back. He is a sweet and shy dog. He is extremely handsome and his eyes will melt your heart. He is good with other dogs and children. He is potty trained as well as crate trained.
