Description:

7/28/19 update:  Bunny is an adorable gentle soul. She is very easy, loves to cuddle and be around you. She walks great on a leash and sleeps well through the night without need of a crate. She loves her blankets and her toys. I’m sure the new owner will find that she is an easy dog to care for and she is happy to be around you.

Bunny was taken in from a high kill shelter with her NINE tiny puppies! She was a wonderful mommy to all of her pups and took care of them beautifully. Bunny is a very nervous girl who needs a quiet home until she comes out of her shell some more. Who knows what kind of mistreatment she experienced in her prior "home." She is going in to a foster home with one of our wonderful volunteers. Once she settles in with her, we are hoping that she shows some more of her personality. If you are interested in this sweet little girl, please fill out an application and come meet her!

Foster Update 6/20/2019:   Bunny is doing great in my home! She has gotten used to me and a home setting and with a little bit of patience, I feel she will acclimate quickly in her furever home.
Bunny walks better on the leash, and when she sees the leash, she will run to the door excited to go on a walk:) I  have a senior Aussie and she and BUNNY hang out together in the house. They do not really play actively as my Aussie is too old to romp:) With another younger dog in the home, BUNNY probably will be more active as she love to go on longer walks (at a quicker pace) if my Aussie could handle it.  At first, BUNNY was afraid of the cars passing on a busy road, but now it does not faze her. She loves meeting other people on our walks.
BUNNY is good with other dogs and would be fine with another dog in the home or as the only pet as she is more of a people kinds dog~She just wants to be around me and be loved. She'd make a great companion for a family as she is a sweet girl who is moderately active. BUNNY has lots of love to give...submit an application to meet her:)
