Bell came to us from a very rural shelter in Tennessee where the adoption rate is close to zero.
She was there at that shelter for a year and had been kept in her crate 24/7. We do not know why she ended up in the shelter or what happened to her, but it is very clear that she had a scary start to life, very shy and cautious. Though she will take some time to trust her new parent it is so worth it. An absolute joy once she knows you. s
he needs a patient home that understands she came from a bad situation with almost no socialization, once
given time to decompress she will make an excellent companion for a willing home.
