These pups are all very active and energetic. They would do best in a young, active home with older/experienced children and another energetic pup or dog their size so they can play and wrestle with. A fenced in yard would be great for a safe place to play and explore. Delores is always smiling and up for mischief.
Tomasina and her puppies were owner surrendered to us. She had ten puppies that all passed away. Her owners then allowed her to get pregnant again and she had nine puppies. After finding a home for five of them, they were not able to rehome the remaining four. They begged Judy to take them, and Judy agreed to take them and get the mother spayed. They decided to just keep the father and Judy took Tomasina to find her new forever home. This is why it is very important to spay and neuter your pets and prevent unwanted litters.
These puppies are very active and playful and will need lots of love and attention!
Puppy litters tend to be very popular. We highly recommend that if you are interested in adopting, please submit an online adoption application promptly. Once your application is submitted, you will get an email response from our adoption screeners with more information regarding our adoption process. Puppies are frequently at events and can be in a foster home. Therefore, pups are not always at our adoption center. Your adoption screener can best direct you to the location/event where you may visit our pups as well as update you on their availability status.
German Shepherds are courageous, keen, alert and fearless, cheerful, obedient and eager to learn. They are also tranquil, confident, serious, clever, extremely faithful, and brave. They will not think twice about giving their lives for their human pack and have a high learning ability. German Shepherds love to be close to their families, but can be wary of strangers. This breed needs his people and should not be left isolated for long periods of time. They only bark when they feel it is necessary. Often used as police dogs, the German Shepherd has a very strong protective instinct, and is extremely loyal to its handler.
