Description:

Tomasina was owner surrendered to us with her four puppies.  The pups have since found their forever homes and now it's time for this beautiful Mom to find her family.  Judy is fostering her and describes her as "delicious" because she's so sweet.  She has a calm demeanor, doesn't growl or get too excited and loves to go for walks.  She does well with the other dogs at Judy's house and is housetrained.  Tomasina is a little cautious of men, as she may have had a bad experience with her previous owner.  We believe that because of her sweet and gentle nature, she will overcome that.  We all love Tomasina and can't wait for her to find her perfect home.

Tomasina is heartworm positive but that should not prevent her from finding her forever home.  At time of adoption you will be supplied with literature regarding our slow kill method. Any questions regarding heartworms please call us. We also recommend that if you are not familiar with heartworms to speak to your veterinarian about the slow kill method.
