Dudley The Senior Maltese

I adopted Dudley, Dudley The Senior Maltese He is a special needs dog, and we started fostering him when he was about 10 years old. He is BLIND and HEARTWORM POSITIVE; When we got him, his description was "I don't know who gave him this haircut, but remember, hair grows out!" He is the best natured dog we have ever known. The fact that he is blind doesn't bother him one bit. He is so fun and funny and such a happy little dog. He makes us laugh all the time and loves to snuggle. What he is lacking in eyesight, he makes up for with love and kisses. He came into this house nervous and shy, he was only supposed to be here temporarily to get him out of the crate and stretch his legs for awhile. Little did we know, he would grow to be such an important and meaningful part of our family. A dog that shows you that a having disability can be a joy and a blessing.
