Jubilee the Tiny Maltese
Happy Holidays from Lilly (Jubilee) the Tiny Maltese!
I can't believe it will be a year on Monday, December 16th, that I found my forever home. But that would never ever have been possible without you and everyone at PRBJ who loved and took care of me so very well! That's also the day that my Mommy and Daddy are celebrating my Birthday as its the day they brought me home for the first time. So, I guess it will be a special day for me but also because my Grandma & Grandpa whom I love sooooo very much are coming to visit and stay with us for the Holidays. So yeah for me!! Me and my grandpaw are like two peas in a pod and for some reason I only "talk" to him. My parents think its so funny because sometimes it sounds like I say "Hello" or " Hi!"
Anyway, I had a terrific 2013, full of new adventures and surprises. I've already filled you in on many, but over the summer I flew on a plane for the first time and did it like a pro! The captain said I can earn my frequent flyer wings since I'm such a good pawsenger. ;) I also got to spend lots of time with grandma and grandpa at their home in MD where they have acres and acres where my brother Kirby and I can run free, chase rabbits, visit the neighbors chickens, dip our paws in the stream to cool off, and of course find any scent we love and just roll around in it to our hearts content. I also learned to swim in my grandparent's pool and I especially loved falling asleep on my own pool lounger the best. We also all went camping in VA, which was another first for me, as I've never slept outside in a tent before, but that was a lot of fun. I also saw a NASA rocket launch at night which was very cool. I wasn't scared at all because it didn't make much noise at all, besides I was in Mommy's arms and I was with my grandparents too so, I knew I was safe. I also went on my first boat ride around Chincoteague Island in VA and saw some wild horses running around...my brother Kirby and I both wanted off the boat so we could chase the horses as they looked like they were having fun in the grass. But mommy said it wasn't a good idea, so we just cuddled in her arms for the rest of the relaxing boat ride. I enjoyed camping so much, that we went a second time in the Poconos and saw all sorts of new critters like geese, swans, deers and a bear! Don't worry, the bear was walking along the road while we were driving by, so we weren't in any danger. I also got to ride a trolley around the charming town of the Poconos and quietly sat on Mommy's lap like a good girl and enjoyed the view from the window. Then, we went up to NY to visit my cousins, Antonia 9 and Mario 6, and they were a lot of fun. They loved taking me on long walks everyday morning and night, playing with me, chasing after me and then letting me chase them....that's my favorite game. Tag you're it! But I especially loved all the cuddling and love I got from my cousins, too. They even slept next to me at night which made me feel very special, like I have a bigger pack of people who care about me and want to be with me. Oh so cool!
I have to tell you, I really like this thing called traveling because I get to go on new adventures, meet new people who are always so sweet to me and see & do new things. I had a wonderful summer vacation at Grandma and Grandpa's as well as a great time visiting my cousins in NY with Mommy & Daddy and I can't wait for our next adventure. Hopefully,it will be soon!
Until then, May you all have a Happy & Healthy Holiday Season!!! I miss and woof you!
Lots of Love-n-Licks,
