Jackie the Border Collie Puppy

Hi Kelly! I took to calling her San (pronounced sahn) after she started barking at the TV when we were watching a movie about a girl raised by wolves. The girl's was called San which is a common greeting for young adult girls in Japan. It seemed fitting. She is a great dog. I brought her to the vet when I got her and they said they thought the rescue was a bit off and that she was really about 8 months old which made her about a year old on Sunday. We go to the dog park every Saturday with her friend Quila who is a 7 year old black lab. They get along great. We went on road trip to Miami last weekend. I have been teaching her many things including to sing! It's slow going but she is getting there! She is very happy (except when she gets a bath every other week but she is getting used to it). She still chews stuff sometimes when I am at work (like the curtain) but I cannot bear to put her in a cage so I just keep trying to make sure we get as much of her energy out during our morning walk.
