Flower the Beagle

We have had Trapper for three years now and just adopted Flower. Trapper has been a wonderful companion, and we couldn't be happier with our family member. We kept the name "Flower" for our newest member, because it is very fitting. She is a sweet, dainty, pretty girl. She is also very quiet. We didn't hear her bark for a few days. Trapper has a loud, deep bark and sounds off when he gets excited chasing squirrels, lizards or his favorite toy - his Kong. We heard Flower bark the first time when they were chasing squirrels together, and she decided to join in vocalizing. She has a soft, squeaky bark that makes everyone laugh. Trapper is my shadow and isn't bashful about showing his preference. Jim, my husband, was so happy when Flower gave him her first kiss and has followed him around the house and shown him affection. Flower is also bonding with Trapper. They act like siblings, occasionally setting boundaries, but mostly doing everythin in tandem. It's so cute. Flower's ears are getting better. I had to take her to the vet to get more ear drops, and her ears were re-swabbed to see where she is at. Her eardrums and canal looked great, but there was still some bacteria, and we are continuing on course. They will be re-checked in a couple of weeks. You are a huge asset to this community, and you took in and made available to us our precious Trapper and Flower. Sandy
