Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Cashew
Cashew

My name is Cashew the cat and I have found my forever home. I am very happy but quite busy training my new family. The big guy( Dad) loves me , and I even have him trained to get me treats if I meow enough. The lady (Mom) pets me all the time and calls me "love muffin". When I purr like a motor boat, her heart seems to melt and she pets me even more. Is that great or what? Their daughter is away at college but visited during the holidays and she is great. She let me sleep in bed with her in her room and petted me all the time while on her lap. My new 2 year old cat sister, Velvet, is fun to play with and scare. Velvet is deaf and I use this fact to my advantage when playing. I love to sneak up on her and scare her. At first she hissed at me, but now, I even sleep with her on the dining room window sill seat Mom got us. Mom says we play really nice together and tells me that I have become quite a nice companion to Velvet. My big brother, Patches, age 12, tolerates me, but I think over time the old coot will love me. Patches has stopped hissing at me, and started grooming me like the big brother he is. We have come to an understanding on sleeping in the King Size bed. He sleeps at the bottom right and that's that! Once I figured out that fact, things got better between us. The family put up the Christmas tree, and I even climbed it. The ornaments are fun to bat around, but I did get yelled out for taking the balls off the Christmas tree. We have a pool and I able to go out on the pool deck/lanai from the bathroom cat door and sit by the pool on the deck chairs with Velvet. . Ah.. this is the life. Please help Miss Judy continue to find animal forever homes. I wonder how I was so lucky, but without Miss Judy...... I can't imagine were I would be. Love Cashew
