Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families. We invite you to read along with us. Not only is it St. Patrick's Day, but it's also Rainey's birthday or at least when we celebrate her birthday.
It was St. Patrick's Day 2009 when she made the ride from Rome, GA to Pet Rescue by Judy to become my foster dog. Nine years later she is still here and will be part of our family for as long as she is on this earth.

Happy National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day from Rainey.
I saw Rainey on a FB post from a shelter in Rome, GA in 2009 and arranged transportation to get her to
with the idea I’d foster her until she got adopted.
Eleven years later and she is still here.
Rainey is as beautiful as ever at age 15. One of her favorite activities is napping in the sunshine.
