Hi Miss Judy and PRBJ friends! It has been more than 2 years since I was matched with my Mommy and Daddy, and we are all very happy. The Lowenbergs are my second adopted family. My first family was nice, but there was a dog, other cats, and young children: I was very overwhelmed and scared by all the noise! But at my new home, there are no other pets or children. It is so very quiet and I love it. Mommy and Daddy call me “Jewel” now, which one of my foster-moms started calling me. Mommy says my name fits because I am “precious.” My favorite toy is the laser pointer—someday I’ll catch that red dot! I have a lovely screened porch and love to watch the backyard. And if things come in the screen, I POUNCE!! I am a mighty hunter, and have caught lizards, frogs, and even a snake once.
