Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families. We invite you to read along with us. If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going! We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.
I think we have found the perfect pet for us. Twinkie was very quiet and well behaved the entire one-hour drive to his new home. He loves to be petted, and his "purring motor" is running constantly. Agnes and I took turns holding him, and he "snuggles up" with his motor running full speed. In the evening, we put on his harness and leash without objection. We than placed him in the small storage pocket of my wife's stroller, and took him for a ride outside. Again, he was very alert and observant, but never tried to jump out. We think he really enjoyed the ride. Tonight he is "hiding out" in my closet, and I am leaving him alone because I think he needs a little "quiet time" to get adjusted. I have made an appointment on Friday , for Twinkie's health checkup, bath, and rabies vaccination. Gene
