Thank you again for allowing me to adopt sweet Apollo last weekend. Since he was back in Melbourne, I told you I would be sure to send photos.

 

Apollo has been getting many walks, taken a super fun trip to the dog park and has tons of toys to help keep the days fun. He loves to bring me, then protect, his fuzzy duck. In the photos I have sent a few from the backyard reinforcing his "shake" skills and 1 with that special duck of his.

 

Reading his file, he was with your team for 5 months. Had he been almost anywhere else he wouldn't be alive today due to how long they keep a dog before putting one down and I wouldn't have my new forever friend. Thank you for taking him in, taking care of him and his infected tooth, and for giving him enough time at your rescue so we could find each other.

I promised I would provide updates on Apollo . He is such a bright but goofy boy. He is such a mama's boy and hangs out with me while I do yard-work. He also loves to take nights on the town when I am heading the locations with pet-friendly patios. He loves to snuggle whenever I am willing to sit on the floor with him.  We have also been working on his tricks. When I adopted Apollo he knew "sit" and "shake". He now has learned "lay down", "roll over", and "stand".

Last weekend, we got another rescue and now Apollo is a big brother! He has been so gentle playing with the puppy and has been a huge help with potty training and teaching the puppy how to "sit".

 

Apollo 's profile said he was taken into the rescue with another dog and we are thrilled to give him a sibling once again.
