Update on Sonny. We kept his name as Sonny. In his first few weeks here, it was determined he had a bacterial skin infection. While working on clearing that up, we found out how smart he is. He managed to open the peanut butter jar we were using for his pills and now owns an entire jar of peanut butter. As you can see, he is spoiled and has worn himself out. He loves his backyard and doesn't share with other animals.

Today hits the 3 year adoption day of Leia who’s now 4 years old and still a troublemaker.

Simba is growing fast!

So 1 year ago today - these cute little babies joined our family. Baby girl Daisy was a tiny 9 lbs & her brother Dusty 9 1/2. Now - here we stand after our vet visit yesterday.... and baby girl has more than quadrupled her weight! She’s hanging on at 39 lbs., while baby boy is a trim 33 lbs. This crazy duo has kept us on our toes more than w e care to remember! They have proudly escaped our backyard from every which way they can find. They have stolen, eaten, & destroyed countless pairs of shoes, clothing items, linens, remotes, & many other items (including a $100 bill!). But the joy they have given us each day - has far outweighed any of the naughtiness. I so love these babies more than I thought my heart would allow! Happy anniversary my sweet babies. I hope we have many, many, more years as we all grow old together!
