Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families. We invite you to read along with us. If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going! We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.
Peed one time in house (lift leg on furniture), but, we think we have that under control already
Slept in our bedroom all night, zero problems
Very gentle nature, except when he wants to play, only because he’s so big (big dinosaur jaw play biting), is, so far, the only issue. But, he backs down very quickly when say ‘No”.
Already taught him how to sit and give paw. Will work on staying this weekend.
His size can be intimidating, but, his nature is gentle.
With more training, think he’s going to be ok
Changing his name to Hunter
Update on Sonny. We kept his name as Sonny. In his first few weeks here, it was determined he had a bacterial skin infection. While working on clearing that up, we found out how smart he is. He managed to open the peanut butter jar we were using for his pills and now owns an entire jar of peanut butter. As you can see, he is spoiled and has worn himself out. He loves his backyard and doesn't share with other animals.
“We moved to Tennessee! Cali( Sparkle ) is adjusting great! She really has been the perfect family dog.”
