Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Wow, look at her go!      Thank you for making this furbaby so happy!

Spock the Star Trek Pup

Spock, now known as Lucky, was adopted from us last year.    He came to visit us and how he has grown!

Softie ~ Camp Doglando Graduate!
Softie ~ Camp Doglando Graduate!

We adopted Softy (now Salty)  7/24 & just wanted to let you know things are going great. She's getting lots of exercise & has bonded very closely with us both. Had a dinner party here last night with 11 people & she didn't beg, jump up too much or be anything but an angel. Still has an occasional slip up with her housebreaking but less & less as time goes on. She saw the vet the day after adoption & was given a clean bill of health. She has a house full of toys & the three of us couldn't be happier. Thanks for all that you do.

Neil & Boni.

Sven

Sven, now known as Anzo, sure has grown from the little guy who was adopted from us 2 years ago.     We are so glad his owner brought him by to see us!

Si the Siamese Kitten

Hi Judy and staff,

Just wanted to give you another update on the kitten we adopted from you about 3 1/2 years ago.  His former name was Si the Siamese kitten, but we named him Ozzie.  He has obviously settled in well and is getting along wonderfully with our other cat Buddy.  He’s grown into quite a handsome cat, see attached picture, though he is a bit of a fussy eater.  He’s still very playful but is shy around strangers, and most mornings he gets into bed next to me and starts kneading my neck with his paws.  Needless to say, I always know when he needs his claws trimmed!  Thanks for your hard work in rescuing and homing pets.  We couldn’t be more delighted with Si/Ozzie!!  Blessings, Terry and Mike
