Lilly
From the beginning, Lilly has been fantastic with all of our other critters- her patience with the annoying duck is incredible! She is so fast- and if left up to her she would play and run all day! She was about 5 yrs old when we adopted her, fully trained and absolutely nothing was needed to have her adjust to our home. Adopting adult pets IMO is the only way to go!
Lady
Yes, I’m so glad I got to meet her today. she’s such a sweet girl , I couldn’t go home without her. She’s settling in nicely.
Thanks for checking in! And thanks for all your communication through this process:)
Lexi
Hello! Just a 3 month update on Lexi, we adopted her in June and she has been so good to us! She loves running and jumping in our backyard, snuggling on the couch, and playing her favorite game Tug-o-war. She warmed up to us just after day one and never looked back since. Our favorite part of the day is coming home and seeing her wag her tail and wiggle her butt in excitement. We love her and I know she loves us ! Thanks for allowing us to add her to the family
Lulu Bell
Hi Colleen and all our new wonderful friends over there.,
Lennon and Jude picked Lucy from the Beatles book as a new name for
LuLu
Belle. It’s fairly similar and we still call her
LuLu
sometimes.
Lucy is doing well and adjusting to her new home very quickly. She’s getting so many cuddles, and we are overdosing on her sweetness. The kids fight over who she sleeps with. Overnight potty training has been a challenge, but I think we will get used to the sound of her jingling dog tags as a cue to get up out of bed and take her out.
We’re all getting more exercise. Lucy loves running from one end of the yard to the other. Sometimes she’s being chased, sometimes she’s chasing, and sometimes she’s fetching a toy or even just a stick. She loves to jump in the jasmine patch. We have to keep an eye on her there since she’s gotten tangled in the vines once already.
She’s found a few of her favorite spots to lay down.
When the weather is favorable, she’s been happy to lay in her bed, perched on top of a storage bin on the patio, just watching the birds.
One of her favorites past times when she’s tired is to watch the guinea pigs. She not aggressive towards them at all. She’s just very curious and excited.
She still exhibits some behaviors she may have learned on the streets. She chews on mulch despite having chewy treats, and chooses to lay down on the hard ground right next to the big soft bed we got her instead of in the bed. She likes chasing the lizards on the back patio so long as we make sure she doesn’t catch one. Se loves chasing flying insects. Butterflies are her favorite.
She doesn’t seem too fond of water play. No interest in the hose or pool yet, but she didn’t seem to bat an eyelash when she had to go out in the rain. Go figure.
Lucy is love incarnate. So docile and hasn’t barked at all. She licks everyone she meets and usually flops over for belly rubs. She’s a terrible guard dog and it just makes us lover her more. I can’t believe how lucky we are to have found her.
I can’t believe she’s only been with us about a week. She acts like she’s been with us forever, and we love her like she’s one of us.
She’s such a good girl.
I’m so amazed at the job your team dose over there, and can’t thank you enough for watching over our angel.
The xxxx family.
