Luna
We adopted the tan dog, Lucecita (which means "little light" in Spanish), from another agency about two years ago. She brought light and literal healing to our lives in more ways than one. Most notably, she helped us find my mother's bone marrow cancer, and because we found it early, she received treatment and is in full remission now! Shortly after, we decided it was time to get Lucy a friend. We happened across
Luna
's (the black/white dog) adoption profile on Judy's website and were immediately enamored by both her name (which means "moon" in Spanish) and her bio, which proclaimed her love for running around like a "wild woman." When we brought Lucy in to meet her, their personalities were a perfect match for one another.
Our little light and our moon haven't stopped playing (and napping) together ever since.
Over the past year,
Luna
has illuminated our lives in unique, yet equally joyful ways with her boisterous “Lunassaults”, belly-rub-induced
grandpa groans, cheerio bellies, wiggles, and oh so many “wild woman” aka “Lunatic” zoomies.
Happy Gotcha Day,
Luna
. We love you and your sister more than our hearts can contain
Lucus "Stranger Things" Pup
Lucas has been doing great in his new home! We have decided to name him Denver! He had a sleepy first day at home and warmed up to show his playful side on day 2! He is getting along very well with our 2 cats. Our one cat is super curious about him and just watches his every move. She is a cuddler, so we think she is working her way to eventually be able to cuddle with him. Thank you for everything!
Lola
Lola
is absolutely the greatest. Glenn and I truly love this baby girl. She is scheduled to see the vet tomorrow.
My sister met her via FaceTime today. And told me that I was very lucky to have such an awesome darling. I will keep you posted, but I am more that certain she fits like a glove. And truly more than I expected! I am lucky and hopefully
Lola
will soon realize the same as she settles in and realizes she is “Forever Home”. She is sound asleep at the foot of the bed. We gave her a few options, but she chose wisely in deciding to sleep in the king bed! She a smarty too!
Blessings to all that brought her too us!
My warmest regards to all,
