Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Hades the Boxer Puppy

Hades is great! Lots and lots of energy and he is huge!!!!!!

Henry the Hound

I adopted Henry 01/24/2009 and wanted to send an update of how well he is doing now. As you can see the only thing he hunts is the sofa and his toys! What a great dog he has turned out to be. He has become a regular at the doggie park and even had his picture taken professionally there. Yes he is a HAM!

Horatio the Handsome Man

All - It's been a week with Horatio and Casey and they are fitting in nicely. When I got them home I just let them explore and they haven't stopped yet. Horatio loves to climb so I am working with him on that. Casey likes to explore the smaller areas and stay low. They both come to us without issue and play so hard together. It's usually Casey attacking Horatio! The first night at the house they got to see squirrels, peacocks, and ducks. I woke up with Horatio on my stomach in the middle of the night..... I am SO pleased with the decision I made to come to your organization and bring these two to my home. My friends and family have been over to meet them as well and agree how wonderful they are. Many thanks to you and your organization. Keep up the good work!! Kendra Morgan

Hunter the Harrier Puppy
Hunter the Harrier Puppy

Maggie, I hope you are doing well. I wanted to send you some pictures of your foster puppy. His name was Hunter, and we renamed him Piper. He has been such a wonderful addition to our family! Thank you for taking such good care of him when he was a little pup. He is now almost 50 pounds, and this week he will celebrate his 6 month birthday. He is so big that he already looks like a full grown dog to me. It's hard to believe he will get even bigger! Thanks again for taking care of him until we could adopt him! Joanne and John

Heffernan the Bulldog
Heffernan the Bulldog

Hi Judy! Snapped the best picture the other day of Heffernan and Honey (our other dog - chihuahua) and I had to share it with you. Remember Heffernan? I believe he was staying at your house before we adopted him. He is doing great! Just wanted to share this picture with you and your crew. Love, Lindsey and Jeremy
