Deacon the Floppy-Eared Boxer

As you probably know by now, Deacon has a new home. He is really a love! He had a busy day yesterday, going from the center to my daughter's house, then to Pet Supermarket, then finally to his new home. He had a good time checking out the house, going from room to room. He doesn't know what to make of my cat yet. He saw Minnie as soon as we walked in, as she was on the counter, wailing at me to feed her. Later, she came into the den doorway while he was laying on the floor next to me. He looked at her as if he was afraid of her. He kept looking from me to her and back again. Minnie could care less, but they haven't truly met yet. He slept with me last night, practically hogging the queen sized bed. This is going to be an adventure! I will certainly keep you updated on Deacon's progress. Everyone at Judy's was a delight to meet! And, they were sad to see this cutie leave, but happy, no doubt, that he will have a great new home. He's my shadow for now, following every time I leave a room. I know he will grow more comfortable as the days progress. Have a wonderful day! Eileen

Daddy the Terrier

Danni the Dobie

Here is a picture of Danni the Doberman who I adopted last Christmas with her buddy Baron who I also adopted from Judy 6 years ago!! He has finally decided that she can sit on "his" chair with him...so cute! By the way, Danni's broken pelvis is completely healed and you would NEVER know she was ever hurt! She is getting used to the horses but still barks at them every day....we're working on that but they don't seem to mind as much as I do! Diamond Back the Husky

We just KNEW Diamond Back belonged to someone. He's so well-trained and so loving. Thankfully his owner checked with us and they were reunited. We are thrilled for this wonderful dog and his family!

Dominic the Italian Greyhound

Hello Amanda, Dominic is doing great. We was a little timid Friday night but by Sunday, he was happy and looked more comfortable. He and Leo get along great but the bed is now really crowded with the four of us : ) Dominic is adorable and so sweet!! There is one issue though, we brought him to the vet on Saturday and they told us that his teeth are so rotted in the front that they are going to have to be removed. We just fell really bad for him but the vet says that he really won't even notice after the teeth are removed. Other than that, he is a great addition to our family. He will have more love and attention with us then he could imagine. He will also bring us much enjoyment and will be a great companion for Leo. Dominic goes in Friday for the surgery for his teeth.
