Animal Success Stories

Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families.  We invite you to read along with us.  If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going!  We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.

Diamond the Puppy

Diane, Wanted to let you know that sweet little Roxy ( previously known as diamond the puppy) is a whopping 13 pounds and doing great. She brings so much love and laughter into our lives

Doyle the Super Play Boy

I wanted to give you an update on my beautiful Doyle! He is a very happy cat and gets along with my other cats. I adopted him a year ago from you. It took almost a whole year for his real personality to come out and for him to be comfortable with us but he is truly a sweetheart and we couldn’t be any happier! Here is a pic of him! Sleeping in my bathroom sink, his favorite spot! Enjoy, Jaime

Damon the Black Lab Puppy

Hey Janie, Pippin (Damon) is doing awesome. He is very popular at home as you can imagine. He has learned a few more commands (lay, play dead) and has been really easy to train. House training has been getting easier as he gets to know our schedules and we his. He loves going on walks or should I say walking our other dog Hershey. Thanks, Tom

Desiree the Indy 500 Pup

It's been just over a month! I'm not sure if we told you, but we renamed her Indy, short for Indiana. Since she was an Indy 500 pup and Andrew is a movie buff, it seemed to be an obvious choice. She's doing great! She's very smart, she's already learned/learning to sit, shake, come, stay and leave it. She's doing well with her housebreaking, she even goes to the door sometimes and waits for us. We also can't wait for her adult teeth to come in to give our fingers and toes a break We're also taking her to Chickasaw Animal Hospital and found out they were the ones that spayed her. When we brought her in for her first visit, the vet and vet tech recognized her and said she was healing really well! Anyways, I just wanted to give you guys an update! We're madly in love with her and are so happy she's ours Thank you so much for helping us find her! Nichole

Deland Grey the Kitten
Deland Grey the Kitten

On Friday we adopted Deland Grey. She is now known as Molly. She is the sweetest, most affectionate and playful cat. It is like she has lived here forever. Our existing cat is slowly getting used to her. For the most part he has ignored her. No fighting or hissing. This afternoon they slept next to each other on the couch. Dennis and Nancy
