Second only to finding homes for our animals is the joy of hearing back from their new families. We invite you to read along with us. If you should decide to open up your heart and home to one of our angels, please send us a note and photo to tell us how it is going! We will post it on this page so others can share in your happiness.
Hello, my wife and I adopted a cat from your organization, I wanted to provide an update on her because I saw the updates on the website.
Charlotte is an amazing kitty. Sometimes a little misbehaved, she likes to jump on the table even though she knows better. Her personality took a big turn after we brought her home. She's still the cuddly sweetheart we met at the shelter, but she is a lot more playful after getting used to her new home. Some of her favorite activities include biting us, waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs and around corners to pounce on our feet, chasing me up the stairs to either nip at my feet or just push her wet nose against my feet. We also discovered that she's a bit of a drama queen. Is she doesn't get something she wants immediately, she'll go hide and start meowing like something is wrong, which was very scary the first couple of times. We love her so much, even when she is being a pain. Pictures to follow
We have her all set up with her bed and blankie and she decided that sleeping with our son is a better plan. She slept through the night in there.
P.S. Cinnabon now goes by Lizzie (Short for Queen Elizabeth) because of the way she sits on the sofa...like a Queen on a throne.
