Gene's Dog for a Day Adventure 1!
We had the pleasure of taking Gene the Gentleman to Wekiva Island today. He was excited to explore all the new sights and smells, and was very good on his leash. He was hesitant meeting new dogs and people at first, but once he was used to them he was ready to play. He loved chasing his tennis ball and splashing around in the water to cool down, and he would sit and lay down on command for a couple of treats. He is such a good boy and would be a wonderful addition to an active family!

Gene's Dog for a Day Adventure 2!
"We took Gene out for the day, we first picked him up and drove to the South Cross Seminole Trail and he is  very well behaved in the car. When we got to the Trail it was very busy with other dogs, walkers, joggers, and a lot of bikes. When a walker or jogger passes Gene did not react. With other dogs when they passed he was fine, but then would stop and watch them as they walked away. He was good on the leash. When walking he only got distracted when he wanted to smell something, and when I went for a run he was very good. We went for about 2 miles and he was very tired after. We then brought him back to our house, he was comfortable and walked around. He did explore when we brought him into our backyard"

Gene was owner surrendered to PRBJ with his sibling Brendan. Both boys are sweet and love to play.  They do like other dogs  but are not too great with cats.  They both love to go in the kiddie pool and play with squeaky toys.  You will fall in love with this sweet fellow!
